We started fasting on the 3rd of April. We observed our first fast on the 3rd by eating share on the 2nd. If there are 30 fasts this year, our Eid will be celebrated on May 3. But it will depend on the sighting of the moon as to how many fasts we will observe this year. It could be 30, or there could be 29. If there are 29, then this time, we will celebrate Eid al-Fitr on May 2.
Why Muslims celebrate Eid:
It is an order from Allah to celebrate Eid after a long month of challenging fasting. Allah has given the rule of performing this fasting so that older adults can understand the pain of not eating the poor. After fasting for a month, forgetting everything rich and poor, we get the satisfaction of Allah by celebrating eid jamaat together.

How to celebrate Eid:

Everyone, big and small, has an extra joy on this day.
